NASBO Member Travel Assistance

NASBO will provide travel assistance (flight and two night's hotel accommodations) with budget office payment of the registration fee for one (1) attendee per state/territory budget office. For more information, contact Ruth Ann Hultman.

Reservations

NASBO has confirmed a group rate of $265 per night, single or double occupancy (plus 15.7% tax). Additionally, a triple rate of $290 or quad rate of $315 per night are available. 

NASBO will cover the cost of the resort fee for state budget office employees for the nights of March 24, 25 and 26. All other meeting attendees will be charged a $20 resort fee per night over the meeting dates. Additional nights not included in the meeting dates will have a resort fee charged to the attendee at the full $40 per night price. 

Group rate is available for 2 days pre/post meeting based on hotel availability.

Cancellations/ Early Departures

Cancellations must occur By 11:59pm MST, 72 hours prior to check-in to avoid a one night room and tax fee.

To avoid an early checkout fee, guests should advise the hotel of any change in planned length of stay at or before check-in. Failure to notify the hotel will result in a fee of one night’s room and tax. Early check-out fees will be waived in the case of attendee medical emergency or if a NASBO member is recalled to their state by their Governor.

Complimentary internet access is available in guest rooms and meeting spaces.

Hotel Fitness Center and Spa

• The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• The Tamaya Mist Spa and Salon is open 9AM – 6PM daily. Appointments are recommended.
• The Plaza, Oxbow, and Kiva pools are open 9AM – 6PM daily.

Albuquerque International Sunport
Approximately 26 miles from hotel (35 minutes).

Rideshare

Based on time of day, one-way cost will range from $30-45.
From the baggage claim level, proceed to Door 7 for rideshare pickup.

Taxis

Based on time of day, one-way cost will range from $75-85. 
From the baggage claim level, proceed to Door 2 to find taxis.

$45 flat rate one-way
Estimated travel time is 30-35 minutes
